Ross studied B.Com Financial Management at the University of Pretoria and completed his Honours in 2011. He started his career  with an internship at Highwater Limited, followed by a contract at Caveo Fund Solutions. In May 2012, he joined Kleinwort Benson Fund Administration as a Fund Accountant, and moved to Analytics Consulting in September 2013 as an Investment Administrator, moving to the compliance team in 2018.
